. Being an artist (mainly a painter/designer) I listen to ALOT of music. Like all day long. So here is my recomendation of the week for all you musicheads out there. Sigue Sigue Sputnik “Flaunt It”. I have been listening to this album way too much lately. A great album for creating art, in my opinion at least. I highly recomend it if your not familiar with it, just as long as you dont take it too seriously. Or should you…………………..? Released in 1986, this Rockabillytechnopop sound will make you want to “shoot it up!” neon style!

I have the original vinyl edition.
SSS was a gret band and Giorgio Moroder was the man behind their console.

The funny thing was all us Punk Rock kids at the time hated them and their “This will be the future of music” schpiel, oddly enuff they were right… Hats off to them in retrospect!

I used to have this on cassette. Wore it out and they didn’t have any more in print. At the time, my co-workers thought I was on something when listening to it on my personal player. SSS kicks it hard. So glad to see them still hittin’ it!
All I need to know is: Where the Hell can I get it on the shiny disk???
From the other side fo the world…
Portland Oregon, US
Cheers,

Hi there. Interesting place you’ve got here. I was googling SSS and spotted the pic.
The vinyl got permanently borrowed by a friend, I wore out the pirate tape, and then a commercial one. Still have it, still love listening to it. And I don’t know about creating art, but it’s terrific for working on classic cars.
